In 2019, Associate Professor Cong Zhiqiang from the School of Art at Renmin University of China led a team to Ge Family Village. They taught the villagers to transform their homes with an artistic vision and creative hands. As a result, more than 40 art-sharing spaces and over 300 cultural and creative products were created in the village. Ge Family Village has become a well-known internet-famous art village.
Walking through the village, one can see projects such as ‘Yunda’ Pizza, ‘Curator’s Pancake’, ‘Fen Xiaoxian Art Museum’, and ‘True Oil Your’ Fried Dough Twists. These have inspired the villagers’ entrepreneurial enthusiasm through art. From ‘A Thousand Villages with A Thousand Styles’ to ‘Beauty Shared by All’, rural art has been ‘co-created’.
Opening hours are from 10:00 to 17:30 all year round.
Preferential policy for children: Children under 1 meter (not including) in height enter for free.
