Longnan Global Hakka Folk Culture City, the main venue for the 32nd World Hakka Conference, is located at the intersection of Jinshui Avenue and Hakka Avenue in Longnan Town, Longnan City, covering a planned area of 475 acres, with about 376 acres of construction land. The main construction includes the World Hakka Conference main venue, Weidu Square, Lianmeng Bridge, Wushiwei Hotel, Impression Star Hotel, Binhe Leisure Landscape Park, Jiangside Specialty Food Street, Audio-Visual Show, and real estate support, integrating the experience of Longnan Hakka culture, intangible cultural heritage, tourism, leisure, commerce, and night economy into a new urban business card and living room for Longnan.
The main venue of the World Hakka Conference is meticulously upgraded from the original Border Trade Building, incorporating Hakka Weiwu elements. The entire building presents a ‘return’ character structure, emulating the appearance of Guanxi Xinwei, with the inner courtyard ingeniously blending the horse-walking corridor of Yanyiwei, showcasing a new scene created by the collision of two ancient Weiwu in modern times. In addition, the main venue houses the ‘Walking into Ganzhou’ exhibition and the World Hakka Cultural Intangible Heritage Museum. Visitors can not only touch Hakka folklore and skills at close range, feel the rich Hakka historical charm, but also immerse themselves in intangible cultural heritage projects from around the world, appreciating the spirit of Hakka ancestors who dared to venture and love to fight, creating brilliant achievements in various industries.
