Located beneath the Sunrise Rock on the southeast coast of Wuzhizhou Island, there stands a naturally formed giant rock resembling a massive sea turtle, with its head and shell distinctly recognizable.
Particularly noteworthy is a strip of elongated rock exposed above the sea surface to the left front of the boulder. As waves crash against it, it appears as if the turtle is paddling through the water, creating a lifelike motion. It seems as though a colossal turtle yearns to return to its homeland, slowly crawling towards the vast ocean, hence the name ‘Golden Turtle Exploring the Sea’.
