The Green Embankment is situated within the Xixi National Wetland Park, and is one of the ‘Three Embankments’ of Xixi. It is an east-west oriented long embankment, with a total length of 1600 meters and a width of 7 meters. The embankment is flanked by numerous fish ponds on both sides, which are rich in vegetation on their bases, boasting a good ecological environment and beautiful landscapes.
At the eastern part of the Green Embankment, where it meets the city, lies the ‘One Belt, Four Districts’ Xixi Wetland Botanical Garden – the Green Embankment Wetland Plant Community Exhibition Belt and the Baojia Dai Aquatic Plant Community Exhibition Area, the Western Aquatic Garden Exhibition Area, the Eastern Aquatic Garden Exhibition Area, and the Wetland Economic Plant Exhibition Area.The Green Embankment
