Guancheng Art Museum is located at No. 1 Gaodi Street, Dongguan City, in the North Building of Civic Square, situated between the Cultural Square and Civic Square in Guancheng District, Dongguan City. It covers an area of 4800 square meters and enjoys a beautiful environment and convenient transportation.
The museum opened on February 1, 2008, and is a non-profit social and cultural institution. It integrates collection, exhibition, research, education, and exchange functions, focusing on excellent works of modern and contemporary Chinese calligraphy and painting in its collection, and taking into account regional characteristics. In terms of exhibitions, the museum adheres to the philosophy of ‘introducing high-end boutique exhibitions to make them bigger and stronger.’ It actively develops a series of public art promotion activities, making it a comprehensive modern art museum.
