Guandonghu Forest Park started construction in April 2016. The planned forest land area is about 2000 hectares, and the water area is 509 hectares. The main constructions include about 30 kilometers of greenways around the lake, about 7 kilometers of mountain climbing paths, about 3 kilometers of mountaintop trails, 9 service stations, 16 scenic spots, 3 parking lots, as well as a tourist management center and other infrastructure. The center of the entire park is Guandong Reservoir, surrounded by mountains on all sides and shaded by green trees. The mountains stretch continuously in the south of the reservoir, forming one green barrier after another. After completion, it will become a forest ecological tourism park integrating leisure, entertainment, sightseeing, tourism, and science education.
