The Guangming District Cultural and Art Center is composed of five major functional areas: performing arts center, art museum, library, urban planning exhibition hall, and cultural complex.
Its architecture absorbs the courtyard-stacked design style of Lingnan folk houses and adopts a ‘U-shaped’ layout, enclosing a ‘landscape courtyard’ in space.
The arched entrance above the water surface metaphorically represents a cultural bridge and shapes a humanistic eye gazing into the bright future.
