In October of this year, we embarked on a journey to 9 cities, performing back-to-back for 9 days, concluding the first round of the tour amidst surprise and exhaustion. On the road, there was a sensation of life continuously burning, perhaps just a wishful dream. Although not many people came to the live shows, every time we stood on stage, looking at the audience stirred by our music, the feeling of connecting with strangers through music gave us more motivation to travel further. To our surprise, many people said they felt inexplicably moved by our live performances. In the past, our shows were more often described with words like ‘restless’, ‘chaotic’, and ‘ruffian’. Although ‘moved’ might sound cliché, it’s quite cool to associate this word with a punk band. As the tour ended and we returned to our normal lives, we cherished every moment of the tour during the more than a month of rest. Instead of worrying about trivial matters in life, it’s better to blindfold ourselves and stride towards the fire in our hearts. The second round of the tour is upon us, as a native of Guangdong, stepping into the north in winter, one can imagine the cold and the unknown are bound to be a considerable challenge. ‘I want to always be on the road.’ By the end of 2024, we will continue to set off, singing the song of the nameless for all ‘Iron-Clad Jia Li Fei’.
