After a five-year hiatus, musician Huang Yuli embarks on a new tour journey. In the past few years, through self-discovery and growth, Yuli has evolved from a songwriter to a more versatile music producer. This time, he presents his new album ‘YULI’, which he has composed, arranged, and mixed himself, showcasing a high level of originality.
During the years away from the stage, he often felt alone. The beautiful encounters of the past seemed like a distant memory, yet they always beckoned him like stars in the dark night, urging him to revisit old dreams. A strong belief in the power of music and life has sustained him in continuing his authentic expression and creation, treating music as an inseparable part of his life, just as it was a decade ago. However, after many changes and trials, he has integrated new insights and understandings into his creations. Once a young boy who received warm kindness through his music, that kindness fortified his self-confidence. In the lonely years that followed, it was the gratitude for that kindness and the belief that his music could offer value to distant, unfamiliar listeners that kept him going. Now, on the verge of turning thirty, Yuli sets off again to meet souls connected by the power of music, perhaps those he has never met. He knows that over the years, many may have stopped listening to his songs or even forgotten his name, but he must persevere harder to honor the encouragement and support they once gave.
