The Guangzhou Nanhua Jewelry Art Museum is a modern museum that integrates mineral knowledge popularization, jewelry art exhibition and trade, cultural product development and sales, high-end jewelry customization, intangible cultural heritage inheritance, international exchange, scientific popularization, education, and research tourism. It aims to enhance the public’s artistic cultivation and appreciation level, and popularize the application of minerals in aerospace, technology, medicine, and daily life. The museum covers an area of over 6000 square meters, with a permanent exhibition area on the first floor, a cultural and creative zone and jewelry sales area on the second floor, and temporary exhibition areas on the third and fourth floors. The permanent exhibition area is divided into seven major exhibition areas: ‘Prelude Hall’, ‘Jewelry Art Area’, ‘World Skills Competition Achievement Area’, ‘Mineral Popular Science Area’, ‘Fluorescent Flow Color’, ‘Bay Area Unity’, and ‘A Thousand Miles of Rivers and Mountains’. It showcases the fascinating world of jewelry, jade, and rocks, minerals, and has collected various geological specimens and extremely rare treasures from nature. The richness, typicality, and ornamental value of the specimens are leading in China. For instance, Xianghua stone, known as the ‘Panda of the Mineral World’, meteorite iron from space, and various stibnite crystal clusters, cover more than 140 types of jewelry minerals including precious metals, jade, rare earths, and meteorites. The museum has nearly 1000 pieces of natural gold, coral, amber, calcite, gemstones, emeralds, and other collections. Opening hours are Tuesday-Sunday 09:00-17:00 all year round; closed all day on Mondays.
