Guanlan Printmaking Village is a tranquil Hakka ancient village with a history of over a century. It is the hometown of printmaker Chen Yanqiao and has now transformed into a printmaking industry base, attracting numerous printmaking professionals.
The village maintains its original rural charm and boasts a rich cultural atmosphere and artistic ambiance. Characterized by typical Hakka-style row houses, it is built along the mountains and waters, with ponds, ancient wells, ancestral halls, and watchtowers exuding an antique charm. The village is surrounded by towering trees, and subtropical plants such as coconut, mango, and banyan trees are connected in clusters.
Currently, not many people reside in the village; it hosts a few printmaking studios and small shops, creating an overall peaceful and tranquil atmosphere, making it an ideal location for sketching. The village is open all year round from 09:00 to 19:00.
