Guanyun Golf Club is located in Wukang Town, Deqing County, known as the backyard garden of Hangzhou, adjacent to the Moganshan Scenic Area, one of China’s four major summer resorts.
Designed with the cloud sea of Moganshan as an element, the golf course combines undulating shapes, greens, fairways, bunkers, and other elements to create a vivid, concise, and imaginative space. The clever decoration of the green flags reflects the healthy and leisurely golf culture and the traditional Chinese Confucian culture, harmoniously blending movement and stillness. The golf course naturally embodies the geographical and cultural characteristics as well as the long-standing historical culture, presenting an ecological scene that is contented and far from the hustle and bustle of the city, captivating to visitors. The name of the golf club originates from one of its three stunning landscapes – the clouds. Moganshan’s clouds are very distinctive, changing with the time, moving like floating waves, and resting like piled cotton, giving a sense of isolation and independence. Moganshan is foggy and rainy, with a spectacular view after the rain: everything below the mountain waist is swallowed by clouds and fog, while the top of the tower floats above the clouds, like an island in the ocean.
