Oriental Bird World covers an area of approximately 25 hectares and is home to over a thousand rare birds from more than 60 species across the globe. Key attractions include the Peacock Southeast Flight performance, Avian Knowledge Pavilion, Little Bird Market, Parrot World, Flamingo Bay, Ostrich Park, Peacock Park, Cormorant Bay, Waterfowl Comprehensive Park, Raptor Park, Swan Lake, Chick Park, Pigeon Square, and the Hatchery. These areas showcase six major types of birds: waterfowl, wading birds, climbing birds, singing birds, birds of prey, and ground birds, creating a vibrant world of avian life.
Returning to nature and mutual coexistence is the core ecological philosophy of Oriental Bird World. With the method of ‘no cages, no nets, and free-ranging’, the park presents a more exciting bird world to visitors. The six star attractions of Oriental Bird World welcome your visit!
The Avian Knowledge Pavilion displays a variety of bird specimens, eggs, and feathers of different sizes and colors, simulating wetlands and forests suitable for bird habitats. It features educational content on bird evolution, migration, reproduction, and survival, with multimedia teaching tools that entertain and educate children about birds and nature.
It is also nicknamed ‘Fighter Jet’. Entering the park, you will find it unique. When exploring this exhibition area, you can observe their sharp talons and spread large wings up close. In the ostrich garden, the African ostrich is the largest, heaviest, and fastest-running bird in the existing world. It is the only species in the Struthioniformes and a representative of the cursorial birds. It can reach up to 3 meters in height. The eggs it produces are also the largest eggs in the world today. They have the largest eyeballs in the world, beautiful and bright. Next to the ostriches, there are emus that look similar to them. They are simple and honest, lovely, docile and clever. In the cormorant bay, there lives the strongest creature in sea, land and air – the cormorant. The cormorant is also known as the fish eagle or old water duck. It is a relatively outstanding fishing expert among birds. A few fishermen in southern water towns use it as a fishing tool. There is a poem in The Book of Songs that describes the cormorant: ‘Guan guan cry the ospreys, on the islet in the river. A virtuous young lady, a gentleman’s good match.’ In the poem, ‘osprey’ refers to the cormorant. So the cormorant also represents a happy and美满 marriage. In the swan lake, swans have been known by people for a long time. Due to the pure white plumage, graceful posture, moving calls and loyal behavior of swans, both Eastern and Western cultures unanimously take the white swan as a symbol of purity, loyalty and nobility. The swan species in our Oriental Bird World include black swans, whooper swans, mute swans, etc. Swans are outstanding in flight ability. They can fly up to 9 kilometers in altitude and can fly over the world’s highest mountain peak – Mount Qomolangma. The incubation center is the bird incubation base of Oriental Bird World. Every year, various kinds of birds are hatched and meet with tourists. Small ostriches, small parrots, small cormorants, small swans, etc. are one of the popular science attractions that children like. .. If you also like birds, want to understand birds and explore the unknown secrets of nature, welcome to Oriental Bird World to experience a different kind of beautiful birds and fragrant flowers…
