Guihua Island, also known as Monkey Island, is located two kilometers away from Mishan Island and is reputed to be the place where the dragon lady herded sheep in legend. The island is named Guihua Island due to the abundance of sweet-scented osmanthus flowers that cover the island. It is a typical karst topography landscape. The island is filled with the fragrance of osmanthus, peculiar rocks, and winding paths, featuring participatory projects such as ‘Chang’e Running to the Moon’, ‘Hou Yi Shooting the Sun’, ‘Guilin Rabbit Play’, and ‘Thousand Islands Lake Mist Forest’, all with distinctive characteristics. The former central lake area Monkey Island has been relocated to Guihua Island, where you can find attractions such as the Great Sage’s Welcome, Water Curtain Heroes, Monkey Heaven Chaos (monkey art performances), Wild Osmanthus Exploration, and Water Stone Forest.
