The Guieyu Tianhou Ancient Temple was built between the Yuanyou and Tianli years of the Yuan Dynasty. It was funded by ship owners, dock owners, and salt merchants. In 1565 (the 44th year of Jiajing in the Ming Dynasty), it was repaired due to the construction of city walls in Guieyu Stockaded Village. Currently, there are a gold seal made of multi-layered bronze printing pieces riveted together, stone pillars from the Ming Dynasty, stone for the gate (with ‘The river is clear and the sea is calm’ engraved on the back), and white temples with dragon and flower gates in the Qing Dynasty.
