Gujing Liquor Culture Expo Park is located in Gujing Town, northwest of Bozhou City, consisting of two main parts: the North Area and the South Area, which face each other with only Sancao Avenue in between. The North Area primarily features the Gujing Distillery, while the South Area is home to the Gujing Liquor Culture Museum, which is the main attraction for visitors. The museum complex in the South Area is entirely constructed in ancient Chinese architectural style, with a Hanque-style gate and a roof covered with colored glaze tiles in the style of Ming and Qing dynasty palaces.
The museum is two-story, with the first floor dedicated to Chinese liquor culture, exhibiting ancient artifacts such as pottery, porcelain, and bronze wares, among which the ‘Empress Dowager Cixi’s Douqing Huiwen Large Wine Pot’ is the ‘Treasure of the Museum’ due to its significant size. The second floor showcases the corporate culture of Gujing, displaying various renowned liquors. After visiting the museum, one can also view the Song Dynasty Well and the Ming and Qing Dynasty Cellar Groups, both of which are precious historical sites. The Song Dynasty Well is located southeast of the museum, underground. The Ming and Qing Dynasty Cellar Groups are within Zhengdefang, which is also historically significant as it was one of the earlier manual liquor production workshops within the Gujing Group. In the square of the Gujing Distillery in the North Area, there is a Wei Well built inside a pavilion. Inside the distillery, one can also see modern filling workshops and liquor production workshops, although the factory area may be closed due to holidays or other reasons.Additional information on preferential policies: 1.
