Gulangyu Island, known for its serene beauty, has become the de facto tourist card of Xiamen with its unique scenery. The island features attractions such as Sunlight Rock, Shuzhuang Garden, and the Organ Museum. From Sunlight Rock, one can overlook the entire island and take in the panoramic views.
In addition to these, Gulangyu Island is home to various architectural styles, including the Minnan-style Haitian Construction, the Sino-Western Bagua Building, and 19th-century European-style consulates, earning it the nickname of ‘Exhibition of International Architecture’.
The island hosts many boutique shops with artistic decor, perfect for photography. It is open all year round, 24 hours a day. (1) Daytime routes: The incoming island flights operate from 8:10 to 17:30, leaving every hour at 10 and 30 minutes past the hour; outgoing island flights operate from 7:40 to 17:40, leaving at the hour and 40 minutes past the hour. (2) Nighttime routes: The Sanqiutian Wharf outgoing island flights operate from 18:00 to 24:00.
From 00:00 to 5:00, visitors needing to leave the island should return to the ferry terminal from the Piano Wharf (leaving on the hour); from 5:30 to 7:00, return to the ferry terminal from Sanqiutian Wharf (flights remain unchanged, for details, see the ferry company’s official website). (3) Any additional routes or schedule adjustments will be based on the ferry company’s official website notifications.

Additional note: Preferential policies apply only to the five major scenic spots of Gulangyu: International Calligraphy Art Museum, Sunlight Rock, Haoyue Garden, Organ Museum, Shuzhuang Garden.
Service facilities include parking: [Cruise Center Gulangyu Wharf Parking Lot] with a reference price of ¥3 per half hour; located next to the Gulangyu Cruise Center; capacity: 516; the first 30 minutes (inclusive) of parking is free (except for the second entry of the same parking lot on the same day); every 30 minutes after that costs ¥3; every continuous 24-hour parking (inclusive) costs ¥50.
On-island transportation: The reference price for the Gulangyu sightseeing bus island loop line is ¥50 per person, and the interval line prices vary from ¥20 to ¥40 depending on the distance between stops; located to the left of the Piano Wharf.
Restrooms: There are multiple restrooms on the island, located near the landing point and main roads, with clear signs.

There are many farmhouses and restaurants in the scenic area, with obvious signs. Alipay/WeChat payment is available.
