Qinyuan, featuring Melody Square, Qinsi Square, Yiyun Tower, Liuyin Garden, and Yuyou Gate, is intricately linked to the piano at every turn. This is because Gulangyu has been the birthplace of many musical prodigies and piano poets. With the highest number of pianos in the country, the island has long been hailed as the ‘Island of Pianos’ and the ‘Cradle of Musicians’.
Qinyuan is a newly developed tourist attraction on日光岩, located on the southwest side of 日光岩 at Hero Mountain, connected to 日光岩 by a cable car. It forms an organic combination of motion and stillness, present and past, with the natural scenery of 日光岩.

Qinyuan primarily focuses on modern entertainment projects, including a Pigeon Park, Audio-Visual Hall, Art Gallery, and a Heroic Martyrs’ Park to commemorate the heroes. In addition, there are Melody Square, Qinsi Square, Liuyin Cottage, and Tide Listening Cliff, where music seems to be ubiquitous. Open all year round from 08:00 to 18:00.
