Hai Chen Park is located on the west side of Zhonghe Road and on the south side of Mingzhou Road, adjacent to Zhonghe River in the west. It was originally constructed in March 1991. The park’s name, which means ‘Morning of the Sea,’ was designed by the Landscape Research Office of Tongji University in Shanghai. The park stretches over 240 meters in length and about 60 meters in width, covering a total area of 11,322 square meters, forming a slender green belt.
The park boasts a high greenery coverage rate and features iconic structures such as the ‘Beilun Light’ sculpture, as well as a café, pergolas, flower corridors, and rest halls, among other garden architectural elements. The park primarily focuses on plant landscaping, with artificial streams, waterfalls, Taihu stones, and stone buds scattered throughout, making it an ideal place for city residents to leisurely stroll.
