The Hai Rui Memorial Park was originally constructed in the 17th year of the Wanli era of the Ming Dynasty, under the emperor’s orders, with Xu Ziwei specifically dispatched to Hainan to oversee the construction. The park features a rectangular layout, surrounded by stone walls.
Inside the park, there is a tomb path paved with granite, flanked by stone carvings such as sheep, horses, lions, and turtles. In the middle of the tomb path, there are three stone archways. The tomb of Hai Rui stands approximately 3 meters high with a domed shape, and in front of the tomb, there is a stone stele about 4 meters high.
