The heart of Hainan, a green treasure trove. Located in Yinggen Town, Qiongzhong Li and Miao Autonomous County, Hainan, the Hainan Baihua Ridge Tropical Rainforest Cultural Tourism Area boasts a main peak over 1100 meters above sea level. The scenic area features overlapping peaks, towering ancient trees, entwined vines, and a forest coverage rate exceeding 90%. With an average temperature of 22 degrees Celsius, it is warm in winter and cool in summer, rich in negative oxygen ions, and abundant in rainforest flora and fauna, making it an ideal place to escape both the cold and heat.The renowned Baihua Waterfall within the area has a drop of over 300 meters, embodying the qualities of being peculiar, beautiful, majestic, and stunning. The area preserves its pristine ecology and is rich in the ethnic customs of the Li and Miao minorities. The rainforest’s natural landscapes are abundant, with areas such as the Bodhi Secret Realm, Valley of Love, and Waterfall Planks, featuring unique rainforest wonders like Baihua Heavenly Pool, Heavenly Lute Tree, and Lotus Stone. The area also offers a distinctive rainforest zip-line spanning over 2000 meters. The treetop plank road provides an expansive view, highly appreciated for its aesthetic and experiential value.
The entire area is open throughout the year from 09:00 to 18:00. Preferential policies include: Children under 1.2 meters (inclusive) enjoy free admission (no discount on sightseeing bus tickets); children between 1.2 meters (exclusive) and 1.4 meters (inclusive) receive discounts; elderly individuals aged 70 and above (with ID) enjoy free admission (no discount on sightseeing bus tickets). Active-duty military personnel (with military ID) and disabled individuals (with disability certificates issued by the national disabled federation) also enjoy free admission (no discount on sightseeing bus tickets). Revolutionary wounded soldiers and retired soldiers enjoy free admission. Journalists with press cards issued by the State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film, and Television enjoy free admission. One accompanying caregiver for severely disabled individuals enjoys free admission.
