Designed by the renowned Schmidt-Kori Design Company, the course was meticulously crafted by the chief designer, Brian Kori, integrating the club with the natural terrain, surrounding mountains, courtyard views, lakes, and a hundred types of tropical fruits and garden landscapes found in Hainan, creating a harmonious and distinctive design that leads both domestically and internationally. The course’s shaping was entrusted to the American main shaper, Robert D. Eaton, who passionately created a unique and stunning modern garden-style landscape golf course. Additionally, the uniquely designed 19th hole, a mini-peninsula green, shaped like a wok, offers golfers the thrill of a hole-in-one. Surrounding the course is a natural lake of 480,000 square meters (Changling Reservoir), with 120 sand traps scattered throughout like stars. The course is nestled against mountains and waters, with fruit trees forming a forest, and the landscape of mountains and waters complementing each other, merging into one. The fairway design is exquisite, with delicate shaping, appearing flat yet hiding subtle challenges, offering both challenge and entertainment, catering to golfers of all skill levels.
