The Fangliuke Cultural Tourism Resort is located in Liuke Village, Boao Town, Qionghai City, Hainan Province. The tourist area takes the construction of beautiful countryside and the rural revitalization strategy as the entry point. With traditional villages as the carrier and overseas Chinese culture, Liuma Ancient Ferry culture, Wanquan River culture, and culture of going to Nanyang as the core, it focuses on creating tourism brands of ‘The Most Beautiful Wanquan River’ and ‘The First Village of Overseas Chinese Hometown’, and builds a ‘Liuke Folk Reception Hall’, becoming an important place to serve the Boao Forum for Asia.
Since its construction, the tourist area has won honors such as ‘Top Ten Beautiful Countryside in China in 2020’, ‘Five-coconut-level rural tourism spot in Hainan Province’, and ‘Gold Award in Cultural Tourism Category of the 11th YUANYE Awards for Municipal Gardens’. At the same time, it has been identified as ‘Hainan Overseas Chinese Cultural Exchange Base’ and ‘Qionghai Home for Overseas Chinese’ by the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of Hainan Province.
