The Hainan Tropical Botanical Garden is composed of two parks: Hainan Xinglong Tropical Botanical Garden (Xinglong Park) and Hainan Danzhou Botanical Garden (Danzhou Park). The Hainan Xinglong Tropical Botanical Garden is a shining jewel in Hainan’s tourism development, renowned for its rich and unique tropical flora. The botanical garden features two varieties: tropical economic crops and forest trees, as well as horticultural plants.
It preserves wild plant resources and rare species, introduces valuable tropical plant varieties from both domestic and international sources, and arranges them in a rational manner. Combined with the beautiful layout of forests and grasslands, it is a comprehensive tropical botanical garden with rich species resources, beautiful garden landscapes, and functions of scientific research, popular science education, sightseeing, and plant germplasm resource protection.Opening hours are from 07:30 to 17:30 all year round.
Preferential policies: Children under 1.2 meters (excluding) enter for free; children between 1.2 meters (including) and 1.5 meters (including) pay half price. Elderly people aged 70 and above (including) with valid identification enter for free; those aged 60 to 69 (including) with valid identification pay half price. Disabled individuals with a disability certificate enter for free. Military personnel with valid military identification enter for free.
