Wuzhishan is located in the central part of Hainan Island. The scenic area is full of primitive tropical rainforests, layer upon layer, stretching endlessly. There are also many mountain springs and lakes in the mountains, and the landscapes of mountains and waters complement each other. Looking far from a high place is even more interesting. Currently, there are mainly two mountaineering routes for visiting the scenic area.
One is the valley route in search of the source of Changhua River, and the other is the mountaineering route leading to the main peak of Wuzhishan. The two routes are not connected to each other. After visiting one route, only by returning to the foot of the mountain along the original route can one continue to move towards the other route. The valley route is relatively easier. Along the way, the air is fresh. The tropical rainforest is mixed with the continuous sound of flowing water, giving people a very comfortable experience. Tourists with better physical strength or those who want to reach the peak can choose the other route. The main peak here is more than 1,800 meters above sea level, more than 300 meters higher than Mount Tai, and the mountaineering trail is relatively steep. Along the way, you can listen to waterfalls and see pines. Being among the peaks and ridges and seeing clouds floating by beside you is like being in a fairyland. If you want to view the panorama of Wuzhishan from a distance, you can visit the Wuzhishan Tropical Rainforest Scenic Area not far away. The opening hours are from 07:30 to 16:00 all year round. The specific business status is subject to the opening situation on that day.

Must-see tips: 1. The best time for mountaineering is from November to April of the following year. Avoid the rainy season from May to October. During the rainy season, the roads on Wuzhishan are slippery and difficult to walk, and there are especially many leeches. 2. Mountaineering needs to start early. Sometimes fog begins to rise on the mountain at 4 pm, which is relatively dangerous. 3. There is a shortage of water on the mountain. You must prepare enough water before mountaineering. Since it takes a long time to go back and forth for mountaineering, you can prepare some dry food to replenish your physical strength.
