Haixinsha is located in the area of Zhujiang Pazhou, Guangzhou Tower, and Huacheng Square. It is an artificial island on the Pearl River, known for its stunning night views. The lights of Huacheng Square and the colorful changes of Guangzhou Tower across the river complement each other, creating a dazzling scene. Additionally, it is an excellent spot to view the Guangzhou Tower, attracting many photography enthusiasts to capture its beauty. The Asian Games Park on the island was the venue for the opening ceremony of the 2010 Guangzhou Asian Games, and those who have seen the ceremony will surely remember the boat-shaped stadium.
Huacheng Square is on the north bank of the Pearl River, Haixinsha is in the middle of the river, and the Guangzhou Tower is on the south bank. The unique geographical location makes Haixinsha and its surroundings a must-visit place for exploring the international metropolis of Guangzhou, marking it as a new landmark of the city. The APM metro line connects these three areas, making it a straight line of three points. Generally, one can take the APM to Haixinsha Station, but for a better visit, it is recommended to get off at the Grand Theater Station. This way, one can also visit the Grand Theater and Guangzhou Library, which are considered new cultural landmarks of Guangzhou. Then, take a leisurely walk to the Liede Bridge to view Haixinsha and Guangzhou Tower from another perspective.
The park is open all year round from 07:00 to 23:00, with specific business hours subject to the daily opening status.
