Haizhu Children’s Park is located next to the Luoxi Bridge in the southern part of Haizhu District, originally the site of the sports park, with a planned area of 76,000 square meters. The park will be constructed in three phases: the first phase covers an area of 56,000 square meters and was opened on Children’s Day in 2014; the second phase is 12,000 square meters, expected to be completed in 2015; the third phase is 8,000 square meters. The park features ecological green areas such as natural shade activity areas, water-loving plant areas, all-season fruit and flower areas, and bird-attracting native forest areas, with a high proportion of green space among the 13 children’s parks in the city. It is open all year round, 24 hours a day.
