The miniature landscape Hakka Tulou located in Splendid China in Shenzhen showcases the large-scale group residential buildings supported by rammed earth walls where the Hakka people have lived in clusters for generations, multiplied and thrived. It is one of the three major categories of Hakka dwellings (Hakka enclosed houses, Hakka row houses, and Hakka tulou). The tulou is a product of the Hakka ancestors’ inheritance and promotion of traditional Chinese culture and the crystallization of the wisdom of generations of Hakka ancestors.
