Han Hui Cave is located 4 kilometers east of Suichang County, formed by ancient rock collapses and fortifications. Han Hui and Lingquan Caves are connected above and below, capable of accommodating hundreds of people. The caves are filled with cool air and gentle spring water. It is said that Emperor Gaozong of the Song Dynasty, Zhao Gou, and Emperor Taizu of the Ming Dynasty, Zhu Yuanzhang, once took refuge here, a tale that is much enjoyed by locals; Tang Xianzu, the ‘saint of drama’ during the Ming Dynasty and the county magistrate of Suichang, along with many literati, have left behind poems and calligraphic works. The San Tai Temple above the cave, originally built in the Song Dynasty, adds to the historical significance of the site.
The scenic area boasts clusters of ginkgo, osmanthus, pine, and cypress, with lush greenery and shade throughout the year, accompanied by the sounds of birds and the fragrance of flowers in all seasons. Other attractions include Liu Xian Pavilion, Wang Cheng Pavilion, Zhen Dong Bridge, and the Han Hui Scenic Area.
