Han Shi Qiao Wetland is a large-scale reed marsh wetland and a habitat for various rare waterfowl in Beijing. It is also known as the ‘Great Reed Marsh of Eastern Beijing’ and the ‘Little Baiyangdian’ of the Beijing suburbs. Covering an area of approximately 15,000 acres, the dense reed marshes and rich biodiversity create a unique wilderness landscape on the plains of the Beijing suburbs. The clear waters, vast greenery, blooming flowers, and chirping waterbirds make it a picturesque scene. With the gentle breeze, the reeds sway rhythmically, resembling a vast ocean, presenting a spectacular view.

The wetland park features wooden walkways where visitors can stroll and observe fish swimming and birds flying low. There is also a bird island within the wetland, which was previously not open to the public. Now, a 200-square-meter bird-watching pavilion has been established nearby, offering three ways to observe the natural resources of the wetland: video, audio-visual, and telescope.
