Chongyi Church has a history of over a hundred years. The original site covered an area of approximately 22.4 acres, making it one of the larger churches in Hangzhou in terms of land area. The newly constructed Chongyi Church is located at No. 26-28 Xintang Road, Jianggan District, with a total area of 12,480 square meters and a church area of 7,299 square meters, capable of accommodating 5,500 people at the same time. It is a grand scale and a very famous Chinese church.
Opening hours are from January 1st to December 31st, 09:00 to 17:00. Mandatory tips for visitors: 1. Worship services require online appointment through the WeChat public account ‘Hangzhou Chongyi Church’. After successful appointment, believers enter the church according to the scheduled session information and take their designated seats. 2. Both appointment and entry require presentation of the Hangzhou dynamic health code. Those who cannot provide it can ask family or friends to assist with handling it in Alipay’s health code section, and bring a citizen card to enter for worship. Entry is denied to those who cannot provide health information. 3.
