The Zhejiang Provincial Museum’s Gu Shan Branch is currently hosting a special exhibition that spotlights Xuande furnaces from the Kangxi period. Entitled “Distinguishing Objects: Special Exhibition of Xuande Furnaces from the Kangxi Period,” this collaborative effort between the China Collectors Association and the Zhejiang Provincial Museum is organized by the China Collectors Association’s Ming and Qing Xuande Furnace Branch.
The exhibition boasts an impressive collection of over fifty pieces of Xuande furnaces from the Kangxi period. The displayed items are a testament to the richness and diversity of Xuande furnaces, featuring common styles, antique-style furnaces with a pronounced traditional flavor, and those adorned with intricate decorations. Visitors have the unique opportunity to admire the exquisite craftsmanship of these furnaces up close and to immerse themselves in the cultural atmosphere and social characteristics of the Kangxi era.
The exhibition is open to the public from September 26th to November 24th, with the specific business hours varying according to daily opening conditions.
