The capital of the three Wu regions. Qiantang has been prosperous since ancient times.’ Hangzhou Drum Tower is located on the east side of Wushan Mountain in Hangzhou, Zhejiang. It connects Shiwukui Lane in the south, Dajing Lane in the north, Zhonghe Road in the east, and Wugong Mountain in the west. In ancient times, it was a seaside enemy tower. It was first built in the Southern Dynasties during the Five Dynasties period. It has been repeatedly hit by war. In 1561 (the 40th year of Jiajing in the Ming Dynasty), it was rebuilt again. It was demolished during the ten years of turmoil. In 2002, the Hangzhou Municipal People’s Government completed the reconstruction of the Hangzhou Drum Tower. The regulation adopts a five-bay, double-eaved Xieshan roof style, which is in the form of a drum tower building in the Ming Dynasty. The rebuilt Drum Tower echoes the Chenghuang Pavilion on the west side of Wushan Mountain.

Open time: Monday, December 30. Subject to the site.
