Hangzhou Oriental Culture Park is located in Yiqiao, Xiaoshan. It is 15 kilometers away from downtown Hangzhou and Xiaoshan urban area respectively. It is a cultural tourism area based on traditional culture. The cultural park is divided into several parts such as the Confucian area, Buddhist area and Taoist area. Although they are all artificial scenic spots, it is still good to visit. There is a huge sculpture of Fushou Twin Stars at the entrance of the park. Inside is the manifestation of Guanyin in the Buddhist area. There are many statues of Bodhisattvas and immortals around the artificial rockery. ‘Manifestation of Guanyin’ is a fixed program. It is performed at 9:00, 10:30, 13:00 and 14:30 every day (subject to the announcement of the scenic spot). The holy statue of Guanyin rises to the top of the mountain. The music fountain begins to perform. Holy water is sprayed from the pure vase in the hands of the Bodhisattva. Believers below scramble to welcome it. The scene is spectacular. Further inside is Yangqi Temple. On the underground palace square behind the temple is enshrined a Buddha Sakyamuni presented by the Buddhist community of Thailand. The Buddha statue is inlaid with gems and so on. It is the largest jade reclining Buddha statue in China. After visiting the Golden Underground Palace of Wanfo Pagoda and continuing to walk inside, you can climb the Sanjiang Pagoda to overlook the panoramic view of the cultural park and the surrounding urban scenery. Beyond the Sanjiang Pagoda, there are the Taoist area and Confucian area by Taixu Lake. There are also some antique buildings and statue stone carvings related to Confucian and Taoist cultures.
