The Hangzhou West Lake Longjing Tea Museum is a museum that showcases the historical culture and cultural relic collections of Longjing tea. The museum is located in Jiujie, Longwu Tea Town on the west side of the beautiful West Lake. It has a building area of 3,000 square meters and an exhibition area of 1,600 square meters. The collection scale is over a thousand pieces, covering various Longjing tea cultural relics such as tea products, tea mills, tea wares, tea stickers, calligraphy and paintings, and packaging.
More than 800 cultural relics are all unearthed and handed down in Hangzhou. In particular, the tea mills, tea wares, and fire shovels of the Song Dynasty, as well as the tea stickers from the Daoguang period are listed as the treasures of the museum. Based on cultural relics, historical materials, and historical evidence, and taking historical dynasties as the thread, the tea museum tells the production and development history of West Lake Longjing tea, showing the wisdom and diligence of the predecessors of Longjing people and reflecting the long historical and cultural connotations of Longjing tea.Opening hours: Open all year round, Tuesday to Sunday, 08:30 – 11:30, 13:30 – 16:30.
