Shuangling Pavilion is a pass-by mountain pavilion with a certain momentum, though ordinary in appearance. Nestled right in the middle of the mountain path, it offers a very humanized and convenient service for tourists. The pavilion itself is a traditional building, characterized by black tiles, white walls, and stone pillars as its main structure, adopting a semi-open style.

A stone railing encircles the pavilion, serving dual purposes as both a barrier and a resting place. The pavilion was reconstructed by Wen Tong, the master of Qixia Cave, in the early winter of the Xin Chou year during the reign of the Guangxu Emperor. Two couplets are inscribed on the stone pillars by the passage. One reads, “Neighborhood of loyalty and martyrdom, trace the journey and occasionally come to the pavilion to mourn the heroes.” The other is found on the stone pillars on both sides of the passage against the wall, inscribed with “One water reflects the heart of heaven, different places prove the fruit of three lives; six roots are free of taxes, only the clear spring cleanses the dust of ten thousand disasters.”

Adjacent to the pavilion, there is a pond that appears quite deep. Fish can be seen swimming in the water, though their origin remains a mystery. The water is remarkably clear, yet it is seldom seen as a source for drinking. This pond water flows along the mountain path, descending the mountain and adding a touch of interest to the journey.

The pavilion is open all year round, with accessibility throughout the day.
