The Haodangjia Sea Cucumber Museum, located in the Haodangjia Ocean Health Industrial Park in Rongcheng City, Shandong Province, was inaugurated on November 18, 2018. The museum, a 100 million yuan investment by the Haodangjia Group, spans over 6,000 square meters.

As a specialized museum showcasing the research on sea cucumber biology, scientific education, and historical culture, the Haodangjia Sea Cucumber Museum is also a tourist attraction that integrates natural and cultural resources. Utilizing information technology, the museum employs holographic displays to depict the traditional life of fishermen in the sea cucumber town, collects hundreds of sea cucumber specimens from around the world, and demonstrates the traditional processing techniques of Haodangjia sea cucumber, which are part of the intangible cultural heritage.

The museum features a variety of live sea cucumbers, jellyfish, ornamental fish, and other marine life, as well as information and knowledge on sea cucumber nutrition, food pairing, consumption processing, identification, and storage. Leveraging modern technology, the museum presents the historical evolution, dietary, and medicinal values of sea cucumbers through text, images, specimens, models, films, sound and light, and physical objects, exploring the 600 million-year-old sea cucumber culture and health culture.

Visitors can identify, learn, and appreciate the collected sea cucumber specimens and their descriptions within the museum. It is open all year round from 08:00 to 17:00.
