He Shang Ancient Town is located in Xiaoshan District, Hangzhou City. It is surrounded by mountains on three sides, with the eastern part facing the remaining peaks of Kuaiji, the western part leaning on the Longmen Mountains, backed by Linpu, and adjacent to Zhuji in the south. Historically known as ‘Monk’s Shop’, the town has been a market for a thousand years. In recent years, the He Shang Dongshan Rice Cake Festival and the ‘National Heritage’ Dragon Lantern Festival have attracted many urban visitors to experience the traditional folk culture of the countryside.
