Heng Chau is a rural area located to the northwest of Yuen Long Town Center in Yuen Long District, adjacent to Shanbei River, and close to Tin Shui Wai New Town, the public housing estate Long Ping Estate, and Yuen Long Industrial Estate.
Heng Chau is composed of several villages, including Yeung Uk Village, Lam Uk Village, Ng Uk Village, and Fung Ka Wai. Among these, Yeung Uk Village and Lam Uk Village are closer to Shanbei River.
