Hengxi Town is situated within Xianju County, Taizhou City, and is recognized as an ancient town. It is surrounded by numerous attractions such as Meng Sanxia, Cangling Danfeng, Pingfeng Rock, and Windmill Road.
Meng Sanxia: Located in the Beishiyan Reservoir to the north of Hengxi Town, it features towering cliffs on both sides with bamboo rafting meandering through, offering a cool and secluded experience, earning the name ‘Meng Sanxia’.

Cangling Danfeng: Stretching over 5 kilometers from Cangling Keng Village in Hengxi Town to Nantian Village in Jinyun, this ancient path was a necessary route to the mainland, flanked by towering and steep mountains. Maple trees line the slopes on both sides, and in late autumn, the frosty red leaves resemble the morning glow and a sea of fire, making ‘Cangling Danfeng’ one of the eight ancient scenic spots of Xianju.

Pingfeng Rock: Situated about 8 kilometers west of Hengxi Town, the over 500-meter-long cliff resembles a massive screen, dividing the skyline. This cliff can be further divided into four sections: Xiao Silu Rock, Da Silu Rock, Elephant Rock, and Pingfeng Rock. Among them, Pingfeng Rock stands over 130 meters high, with its peak seeming to touch the clouds and a heavenly gate-like formation, making it incredibly majestic. The top of the mountain covers an area of 15,000 square meters, with fruit trees and green bamboo creating a tranquil and serene atmosphere. Nearby attractions include Saw Rock, Longtan Waterfall, Elephant Trunk Rock, Bottomless Cave, and Tiger Mouth.

Windmill Road: Located on Baiyan Mountain, the mountain is not only adorned with white windmills but also filled with golden chrysanthemums. Every August and September, when the flowers are in full bloom, the interplay of yellow and green creates a beautiful scenic route with windmills, attracting countless tourists for sightseeing and photography.
