Hezhang Peak is located in the Lingfeng Scenic Area. It is considered one of the most majestic peaks among the Yan’dang mountains. The peak resembles two hands clasped together, hence its name. The right peak is called Lingfeng, and the left peak is called Yitian Peak, each standing approximately 270 meters tall. These two peaks rise straight into the sky among the surrounding peaks, creating a spectacular view.
Due to the difference in light between day and night, the peak appears like a cross during the day, and as night falls, the perspective changes, revealing various shapes and scenes with every step. Surrounding the peak, there are other peaks such as the Rhino Peak, Shuangsun Peak, and Bixia Peak, each displaying different forms at dawn and dusk, adding a mysterious touch and highlighting the charm of the Lingfeng night view. Viewing guide: As night falls, standing at the southwest corner of Lingfeng Temple and looking up at the peak, then moving a few steps forward, it appears like a slim girl in a cheongsam with a melancholic face, gazing into the distance, known as the ‘Loving Woman’; when you walk to the eaves of Lingfeng Temple and look back, the Loving Woman transforms into an eagle perched with wings folded. The peak is open all year round, accessible 24 hours a day.Hezhang Peak
