Hezhou City Museum is located at No. 65, Tiyu Road, Hezhou City. It is a comprehensive museum that collects, researches, and displays local historical relics, ethnic and folk artifacts, commemorative relics, revolutionary artifacts, geological specimens, and fossils. The museum is classified as a third-level national museum. It consists of three parts: the main building, Liuqu Hill Bell Corridor, and Hakka Ecological Museum. The main building covers an area of about 800 square meters and has five floors. The first, second, and fourth floors are exhibition halls, the third floor is for offices, and the fifth floor is a storage room for cultural relics. The main building features three exhibitions: ‘Hezhou Ancient Stele Exhibition’, ‘Hezhou Han Spirit Exhibition’, and ‘Hezhou Yao Ethnic Style Exhibition’.
Liuqu Hill Bell Corridor is located opposite the main building of Hezhou City Museum and covers an area of about 500 square meters. In addition to modern cliff inscriptions, it also houses the ‘Hezhou Ancient Bell Exhibition’.
The Hakka Ecological Museum is situated in Baihua Village, Liantan Town, ten kilometers away from the city center, covering an area of about 2700 square meters, and features the ‘Hezhou Hakka People Exhibition’. The museum is open all year round from Tuesday to Sunday, 09:30-16:30; closed all day on Mondays, and holiday opening hours will be notified separately.
