Hezhou Garden Expo Park is the venue of the 10th Guangxi Garden and Horticulture Expo. Covering an area of 1405 mu, it takes ‘Landscape congratulates longevity, poetic nostalgia’ as the design theme. The park is adjacent to mountains and rivers, presenting natural harmony. All the buildings in the park are in imitation of Tang and Song styles, magnificent and permeated with ancient charm everywhere.
The Qilin Square covers nearly 30,000 square meters and stands the national first-class cultural relic of the Warring States period unearthed in Hezhou – the Qilin statue. The Longevity Pavilion stands towering. There is a stele of Longevity Ode and a statue of Peng Zu is placed to display the longevity culture. The 14 city exhibition gardens have their own characteristics, fully demonstrating the folk culture and garden landscape characteristics of different cities in Guangxi. Wanshou Lake is connected to the Hejiang River, the mother river of Hezhou. The lake covers nearly 200 mu. There is a characteristic wind and rain bridge on it and a wooden plank road close to water below. Tourist boats shuttle and people dance with fish. The water stage and music fountain are full of singing and dancing, passionate and unrestrained. Hezhou Garden Expo Park is a good place for health preservation, leisure and entertainment.
