The residence of the governor’s pastor was built in 1901 with a construction area of 530 square meters. The top of the front adopts a combination of curves and straight lines. The top of the gable on the side is designed as an angled form. The wall surface is decorated with imitation wood structure. The entire building gives people an elegant feeling. This small building uses a large number of architectural forms of the German Renaissance revival style.
The huge dormer window and open corridor on the first floor compete with the uniquely decorated gable on the second floor. Previously, this was a private clinic. After liberation, the Qingdao Labor Bureau once had its office here. After the relocation of the Labor Bureau, it also served as a classroom for a private primary school in the 1950s and 1960s.
