The Home of Red Sisterhood Tourism Area, also known as the Chinese Yimeng Red Film and Television Base, is located in Changshanzhuang Village, Mamuqi Township, Yinan County, covering a total area of 1,129 acres. It is composed of the ‘Chinese Red Sisterhood Revolutionary Memorial Hall’, ‘Changshan Ancient Village’, ‘Yizhou Ancient County’, and ‘Shanxiang Dream Film Service Center’ with a total investment of 260 million yuan. This area integrates functions such as red tourism, film and television shooting, and catering, making it a comprehensive tourist attraction.
It is the actual site where the Red Sisterhood used milk to save the wounded, the center of the Yimeng revolutionary base at that time, and still retains the ancient village appearance from the period of resistance against Japanese aggression. This place still retains the simple villages, deep stone-paved alleys, stone bridges, and dilapidated old stone houses and thatched cottages.
With the filming and popularity of the TV series ‘Yimeng’, many red-themed films and TV dramas have been shot here successively. To date, more than 30 red-themed films and TV dramas such as ‘Yimeng’, ‘The Immortal Number’, ‘Mother’, ‘Resist – True Hero’, ‘Tunnel Hero’, ‘Plain Gunshots’, ‘Island City Storm’, ‘Well Done’, ‘Thunder God of War’; and movies ‘Six Sisters of Yimeng’, ‘Bullfight’, ‘Lure Kill’, ‘A Farmer’s 1978-2008’ have been filmed here.
