The poetic work of Nobel Literature Prize winner interweaves the past, present, and future to create a unique ‘existence’. Several couples of different ages move into a new home, living in the same space without knowing each other but understanding each other’s stories. The house turns into mist; damp time condenses into thin air; coming and going is like the pulse that wants to speak but stops at the pillow. When the past and the future confront each other in space… ‘he’ has already arrived. Norwegian drama master Jon Fosse, who won the Nobel Prize in Literature in 2023, is known for his poetic and picturesque works that leave ample room for the audience’s imagination. Following ‘Frost Encounter’, the drama troupe presents Fosse’s European-style ‘Entanglement’ to the Hong Kong audience, once again directed by Qiu Tinghui, creating an aesthetically pleasing and emotionally touching theatrical experience. The full text is open from 03/21 to 03/30, with performance times and duration subject to the actual event.
