Hong Kong Museum of History

The museum takes the local natural history and human history as the main line. The exhibits are rich in variety and mainly display the local development process. The interior decoration is combined with the themes of each exhibition area, which is delicate and realistic, giving people a feeling of traveling through time and space and being on the scene.

Introduction to the exhibition hall: The museum has one basement floor, two floors above ground and an attic. The permanent exhibition halls are mainly concentrated on the second floor and the basement floor. The first floor has special exhibition halls and souvenir shops.

The basement floor mainly displays the local natural environment, the development process from prehistoric times to the Qing Dynasty, and rich folk custom exhibits.

The second floor shows the transformation history from a small fishing village to a metropolis. There are many small screening rooms in the museum, playing video materials related to each exhibition area on a rolling basis.
