Celebrating the 80th Anniversary of “The Little Prince”
The classic French work, “The Little Prince” (Le Petit Prince), is also landing at Hong Kong Ocean Park. Follow in the footsteps of the Little Prince and embark on a stellar journey filled with light and shadow. The park features vibrant lighting and artistic installations across the hills, inviting you to explore the Little Prince’s magical world from different angles!
Follow the Footsteps of the Little Prince
As you stroll through Hong Kong Ocean Park, you’ll find traces of the Little Prince throughout the park! The light projection of the Little Prince at the Dream Water City’s artificial lake will lead you to his starlit marks. You’ll also see decorations reflecting his adventures and encounters with the little fox in the Foodie Water City. At the Storybook area in the Yiqing Square, sit alongside the Little Prince and imagine your next planetary adventure. The giant rose garden in the Seaside Park Plaza recreates the scene where the Little Prince finds countless roses, each one a beautiful presence. Plus, the Peak Park features a giant commemorative statue, perfect for capturing memories with friends and family as you celebrate the Little Prince’s long journey through the stars!
About Hong Kong Ocean Park
Located on the southern side of Hong Kong Island, Ocean Park is one of the world’s most popular theme parks, covering 170 acres across the hills and valleys of South Lantau. The park is divided into two main areas: the Summit and the Waterfront, featuring eight different themed zones including Asian Animal Kingdom, Dream Water City, Whiskers Harbor, Tropical Rainforest, Dynamic Zone, Ocean Kingdom, Rapid River, and Polar Adventure.
Summit Park

Transportation within the Park
- Cable Car: The cable car connects the summit and the valley along a 1.5-kilometer overhead cable, offering stunning views of the South Island and the South China Sea.
- Outdoor Escalator: Opened in 1987, it connects the Ocean Kingdom and Rapid River areas, stretching 225 meters and is the second-longest outdoor escalator system in the world, unaffected by weather conditions.
- Ocean Train: Hop on the Ocean Park train for an exciting underwater adventure, traveling quickly between the Summit Park and the Waterfront.
