The ground floor is a testament to the emporium’s past prosperity, vividly depicting the bustling maritime silk trade of Shipu. This is achieved through an expansive model scene of goods being unloaded at the maritime dock, capturing the essence of the town’s commercial heyday.

Ascending to the upper floor, one is greeted by a unique exhibition: over 600 types and more than 1000 ‘Chinese Buttons’ crafted from silk. These buttons, with themes such as ‘Butterflies Conveying Emotion’, ‘Blooming Flowers and Full Moon’, and ‘Prosperity and Wealth’, are not only intricate but also seem to whisper the delicate sentiments of young women, as enduring as the spring waters.

The emporium is open to visitors throughout the year, with operating hours from 08:00 to 16:30 daily.
