Honghai Bay is interlaced with lakes, islands and harbors. The sandy beaches are winding and continuous. The coastal reefs are diverse. There is a 57-kilometer long coastline. The coastal scenery is beautiful and there are many cultural and historical sites. It has a unique subtropical seaside scenery and has become a popular place for seaside leisure tours every year. As the name suggests, Honghai Bay naturally has red soil and blue sea water.

Walking on the beach, the sand is soft and gentle, as if it has been carefully screened by the magic hand of nature. Coming closer, the pure and transparent sea water rolls onto the beach in volumes. The snow-white waves follow closely behind the tide and rush in, then turn into splashes. Zhelangjiao is a unique scenic spot here. It protrudes into the sea and blocks the wind and waves on both the east and west sides like a barrier.

On both sides of the peninsula, regardless of the wind direction, the scenes are very different. When one side is full of surging waves, huge waves emptying, and galloping like thousands of horses, the other side is calm, with a vast expanse of blue water and sparkling waves. Hence the name ‘Zhelang’. Opening hours: Open all year round from 08:30 to 17:00. Preferential policies: Children: Free for those under 1.
